At AJM Radio and Control we are able to install remote control systems to various industrial machinery to increase safety and facilitate ease of operation. This radio remote control system can be operated at a range of up to 300 meters.
45 Ton Shunting Hunslet Locomotive.
This project was concluded at a mining smelter as a cost saving measure. Where previously two personal where required for the work.
After installation one operator could operate the locomotive from inside or via radio remote.
The radio remote control was designed supplied and installed with a control panel which interfaced with train electrical and pneumatic systems. Full safety requirements where integrated including vigilance loco brake and train brake and was fully operational from radio remote control.
Train jack automation.
Automated synchronised jack system consisting of 24 16 ton train jacks lifting a complete train of six coaches over 150 meters in tandem.
The system is synchronised to a lifting tolerance of less than 4mm over all 24 jacks.
AJM Radio and Control effected the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the automated control system.
