Versatile Bobcat just got better with remote operation.

AJM Radio and Control were recently contracted to retrofit an existing Bobcat skid-steer materials loader with a full remote control system.

With the system, operators are able to control the machine remotely from outside the cab which provides a completely new experience and expands the potential use and versatility of the machine. Direct visibility of the task at hand makes the operation much easier and provides the ability for the machine to be used in dangerous environments, where access is limited or where special safety precautions are required. Further advantages are that the operator is distanced from noise, dust and vibrations which assists in getting the job done faster and with less workforce. The wireless remote control system also allows for direct visibility of the job site and contribute to higher precision in some applications.
